Born in Cyprus with Scottish and Lebanese roots, Diyala is an Animation Artist based in London. She makes animated films and loops surrounding the human cycles of loneliness and sexual desire. She graduated from The Royal College of Art in 2016.
STOP PLAY RECORD was a London wide commissioning programme for emerging filmmakers. The network was led by the Institute of Contemporary Arts in partnership with Chisenhale Gallery, DAZED, Kingston University, New Contemporaries and SPACE. Part of a joint initiative by Arts Council England and Channel 4.
