Social media is a rapidly evolving, all consuming, utensil which has now been incorporated into almost everyones lives. This Documentary takes a brief venture into whether this digital voice is diluting what it is to be truly connected. Do we feel in tune with the people who ‘follow us’? Or are we becoming complacent when acknowledging our ability to have a real relationship or even a conversation? The opinions seem to be as never ending as our timelines…

Georgie is a filmmaker from Watford. Growing up in the suburbs of London motivated her to give individuals a platform through moving image, whilst simultaneously drawing from her own experience. Covering topics such as social, political and personal issues.

STOP PLAY RECORD was a London wide commissioning programme for emerging filmmakers. The network was led by the Institute of Contemporary Arts in partnership with Chisenhale Gallery, DAZED, Kingston University, New Contemporaries and SPACE. Part of a joint initiative by Arts Council England and Channel 4.
