Sometimes the connection we’re looking for comes from the most unexpected of places. Wavelength takes the viewer on a journey through the city, exploring how we relate to each other in a technologically saturated world.
Ashar Smith is an award winning filmmaker from London. He has made campaign films which inform, educate and inspire and documentaries which have been screened at international film festivals as well as the Houses of Parliament. Wavelength is his first narrative film.
STOP PLAY RECORD was a London wide commissioning programme for emerging filmmakers. The network was led by the Institute of Contemporary Arts in partnership with Chisenhale Gallery, DAZED, Kingston University, New Contemporaries and SPACE. Part of a joint initiative by Arts Council England and Channel 4.
